About the Images: The dates on the portraits are the year
they were circulated in a New Pictorialists portfolio rather
than the year they were taken. In several instances, the images
bear more than one title or subtitle and, being images from the
traveling portfolios, are in most cases different in tonality
from those delivered to customers.

The scanned images deliberately include the texture of the paper
on which they were printed. Any perceived flaws in the images
are the fault of the scanning process rather than
in Lady O’s print quality.
